How a bridge can make cups of tea


An outfit called Solar Century was handing out free cups of tea at London’s Blackfriars bridge last week, to demonstrate how effective solar power can be. The bridge is undergoing an upgrade, so engineers grabbed the chance to put solar panels on it, capable of making up to 79,000 hot cuppas a day.
